How Seedline handles your data.
Last updated October 26, 2026Seedline is a sales app for small and mid-size businesses. It finds companies that fit what you sell, helps your team reach the right person, and reads and drafts replies for you to approve. This policy explains what data Seedline uses, why, where it is kept, and the choices you have. It covers the Seedline app at app.seedline.tech and every branded address a business uses to open its Seedline workspace. The Seedline Fill browser extension has its own policy.
What we collect
Your account
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo. We use them to sign you in, show who did what inside your team's workspace, and put your name on emails you choose to send.
What you and your team add
Leads, notes, stage changes, team chat messages and files, booking links, lead pages, settings and your business profile. This belongs to your workspace, and only people on that workspace's team can see it.
Data from Google, when you connect your account
- Gmail (read). Seedline reads messages from the companies and people you are working with in Seedline, so it can notice their replies, sort them and draft an answer for you. It also reads the emails you sent to a lead so a follow-up stays in the same thread and so it can tell you already replied. It searches only for messages to or from your leads; it does not browse the rest of your inbox.
- Gmail (compose). Seedline creates drafts and sends emails from your account, but only emails you write or approve, including follow-ups you approve to send on a schedule.
- Google Calendar (events). Seedline reads the start and end times of your events so your booking page and suggested times only offer times you are free, and it creates events for meetings that are booked and reminders you set.
You can disconnect Google at any time in your Google account permissions. Seedline then stops reading and sending for you.
People you contact
Seedline looks up business contact details that companies publish on their own websites, such as a buyer's work email or a contact form, and stores them as leads in your workspace. Anyone whose details are in a Seedline workspace can ask us to remove them at the address below.
Basic technical data
Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.
How we use it
- To run the features you use: finding and checking companies, sending your emails, reading and sorting replies, drafting answers, booking meetings, team chat and reminders.
- To keep Seedline secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To show your team its own numbers, such as replies and meetings booked.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
AI processing
To sort replies, draft answers, summarize chat and research companies, Seedline sends the relevant text (for example a reply from a lead, the lead's details and your business profile) to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic processes it to return a result to Seedline under terms that do not allow it to be used to train AI models. Seedline does not use your data, or any data received from Google APIs, to train or improve generalized AI or machine learning models. Drafts are suggestions: a person on your team approves what is sent, unless your team turns on an automatic step that you control in Settings.
Google API Services: Limited Use
Seedline's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular, data we receive from Gmail and Google Calendar:
- is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above, in the workspace you connected it to;
- is not transferred to others except as needed to provide those features (such as the AI processing above), to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you;
- is not used for advertising, including retargeting or personalized ads, and is not sold;
- is not read by people, except with your permission for a specific message, when needed for security (such as investigating abuse), to comply with law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations;
- is not used to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Where it is kept and how it is protected
- Workspace data is stored with Supabase in the United States. Every row belongs to one workspace, and database rules stop anyone outside that workspace's team from reading or changing it.
- The Google sign-in tokens that let Seedline work in the background are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and can only be read by Seedline's server.
- From your mailbox, Seedline keeps only what a feature needs, such as the text of a reply waiting in your Autopilot queue and the identifiers that keep a thread together. It does not copy your inbox.
- All traffic uses HTTPS. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run Seedline.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run Seedline, each only for its part of the service: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI processing), Google (Gmail and Calendar, when you connect them), and GIPHY or Tenor (only the search words, when you search for a GIF in chat). We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the public.
How long we keep it and how to delete it
- Workspace data is kept while the workspace is active. Leads you delete stay in Recently deleted for 30 days, then are removed for good.
- Owners can remove people from their team at any time. Removed people lose access right away.
- To delete your account, a whole workspace, or a lead's details, email privacy@seedline.tech. We complete requests within 30 days and remove backups on their normal schedule.
- Revoking Seedline in your Google account stops all Gmail and Calendar access immediately.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is used. Email us and we will help. If you are a member of a team's workspace, some requests may need to go through that team's Owner, who controls the workspace.
Children
Seedline is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell workspace Owners in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
